About Tique

Tique is a printed and online publication on contemporary art, founded by Welmer Keesmaat in 2016.

As of 2024, Tique focuses on the power of contemporary art as a driving force for personal and collective change, within four themes: identity, environment, transformation and artistic practice.

We do this by:

• featuring and discussing artists and movements within our focus through a printed and online publication
• running an art space for books & resources, exhibitions and events
• supporting artists in their artistic practice with guidance, workshops and tools with the initiative pracTique.
